Abhyangam (Synchronized Massage)
This Ayurmana signature massage aims to balance the three elements of the body,bringing in a sense of wellbeing for the body physically, mentally and emotionally. The massage with the application of specified Ayurvedic medicated oils improve circulation, muscle tone and enhances detoxification. It is a four hand massage and the rhythmic motion used in this therapy relieves joint pain, muscle stiffness and improves the texture of the skin.
Sirodhara (Taila Dhara)
In this procedure, a continuous stream of lukewarm medicated oil is allowed to flow over the forehead for 30 minutes, preceded by a gentle body massage. This treatment reduces stress and anxiety, cures insomnia and also tones the debilitated person.
Pathrapotala Swedam / Choorna Swedam
Leaves or powders of medicated herbs are fried in medicated oils and tied in muslin cloth to make a bundle, which is then dipped in warm medicated oil and used for this massage. The massage is done in a synchronized manner by two therapists. It is very useful in treating Myalgia, Arthritis, Spondylosis, lower back pain and other inflammatory conditions.
Abhyangam with Steam bath
This is an ideal combination to provide both physical and mental relaxation.
Abhyangam with Sirodhara
After the full body massage the person is to be seated in a wooden steam box for herbal steam bath. This is highly effective in eliminating toxins by stimulating sweat glands and improves circulation.
Abhyangam with Pathrapotala Swedam
A combination highly recommended for lower back ache, cervical problems and muscle stiffness.

Full body Ayurvedic oil massage done by one therapist.
Chavitty Uzhichil
(Only for Gentlemen)This Ayurvedic massage is done with the feet. Highly recommended to release muscle stiffness and to improve body flexibility. It increases the general vitality of the body by improving blood circulation and flushes out toxins and free radicals from the body.
Ksheera Dhara/ Thakradhara
In this procedure a continuous stream of lukewarm medicated milk or buttermilk is allowed to flow over the forehead preceded by a gentle body massage. It reduces excessive body heat and promotes healthy skin. It is very useful for the treatment of psoriasis, dandruff etc. and is recommended for a minimum period of 3 days.
Njavarakizhi
In this treatment medicated rice bundles called Njavarakizhi, dipped in warm medicated milk are used for massaging in a synchronized manner. It helps cure muscle wasting and rejuvenates the body. It can also be used as a beauty treatment to improve complexion.
Head and shoulder Massage
A massage of the scalp, neck and shoulder with medicated herbal oils. The treatment stimulates the nerve endings of the scalp and increases circulation, providing strength and lustre to the hair. The neck and shoulder massage relieves muscle tightness and the ultimate result is better sleep and relaxation.
Feet Massage
This is a specialized therapy with medicated oils to strengthen feet and provides relief from pain and tiredness.
Back Massage
This therapy helps reduce stress and strain experienced in the muscles of the back, and it strengthens weak muscles. The benefits of this massage include relaxation, stress management and improved circulation.
Thalapothichil / Head pack
This is an application of a special medicated paste. The paste is prepared from medicines like Amalaki and Triphala. It is mainly used to relieve stress, headache, migraine, sinusitis, insomnia, hair fall etc.
Anti-Dandruff Treatment
This is a special Ayurvedic hair treatment for dandruff. Comprising of a medicated Ayurvedic oil massage and a special herbal pack. It strengthens hair follicles thus improving hair growth.
Nasyam
This involves instilling medicated nasal drops in each nostril, preceded by a mild face massage and steam. This is done to cleanse the sinuses and upper nasal cavity. It can be used to nourish all the sense organs above the shoulder. This treatment is recommended for a minimum period of 3days.
Steam Bath
This is a herbal steam bath for 10-15 minutes, preceded by a mild oil application on the body for15 minutes. This procedure helps eliminate toxins by stimulating sweat glands and improves circulation.
Nethrasekam
This is a process of cleaning the eyes using running medicated water. It is recommended for relaxing and soothing the eyes and the optical nerves that have been subject to stress and strain.
Udwarthanam
This is a dry powder massage that helps burn the subcutaneous fat from the body. This is highly effective in reducing body weight if done for 7 days continuously. It is good for exfoliation and cleanses the skin.
Pizhichil
This procedure is also known as the Royal oil bath. The body is oleated with a continuous stream of warm medicated oils followed by a mild body massage. This treatment is recommended for nervous disorders, paralysis, and rheumatoid arthritis. It is recommended for a minimum period of 7 days.
Katee Vasthi
This procedure is done by keeping warm medicated oil over the lumbar region, within a circular ridge. It is very effective in treating lower back pain and Sciatica. It is recommended for a minimum period of 3 days.
Janu Vasthy
This procedure is done by keeping warm medicated oil over knee joints within a circular ridge. It is very effective in the treatment of Osteo- arthritis and related conditions. It is recommended for a minimum period of 3 days
